Project Description

Illustrate, animate, and share your own character!

Whether you’re brand new to animation or just to Joysticks n’ Sliders, we want to see your character! Smiling, frowning, freaked out — we can’t wait to see whatever emotion you’ve chosen to convey. Using Fraser’s character or one of your own, and animate their face using Joysticks n’ Sliders.

Some things to remember as you create your animation:

  • Each feature you’d like to move needs to be on its own layer.
  • Labeling your layers will save you headaches down the line!
  • Anything you want to be seen in profile as well as head on should extend beyond the character itself (like the character’s hair).
  • Rigging takes the longest, but once your character is fully rigged the sky’s the limit!
