Description
Take your trading to the next level with the course Swing Trading Systems Video Home Study by Van Tharp Institute
Are you interested in trading more regularly but lack the time necessary to sit in front of a monitor during market hours? Do you want a better rate of return than what a buy and hold strategy may offer in your retirement account? Are your trading strategies dependable in bull, sideways, and downturn markets? Are you seeking for a steady stream of reasonably uncorrelated trading chances almost every day? If you responded yes to any or all of these questions, the Van Tharp Institute’s Swing Trading Systems Video Home Study may be just what you’re looking for. Even if you have excellent techniques, if you disregard the fundamentals of a sound trading company, you are likely to trade like practically everyone else in the markets – desiring to be correct about your trades, acting out of fear or greed, and making several expensive errors. Without a grasp of your own psychology and a lack of information about self-transformation, trading amazing systems may be a very frustrating experience rather than a liberating one.
Dr. Ken Long explains five swing trading methods that he designed and traded in this Swing Trading Systems Video Home Study. While some of these methods are based on public research by analysts or traders, others are his own original innovations. These are not theoretically sound or well-tested conceptual techniques. These systems follow particular principles that have been validated in actual trading. Along with Dr. Long’s extensive trading experience over multiple years, he has a wealth of anecdotal evidence from institutional and individual traders who attended his earlier swing seminars and are now actively trading these systems. These five swing methods create setup signals that serve as the foundation for a large portion of Dr. Long’s intraday trades today.
About your instructor Dr. Ken Long
Dr. Ken Long has spent the previous thirty years as a skilled lecturer and exceptional communicator in many capacities. He was a career military officer whose most recent post was as an instructor at the United States Army’s Command and General Staff College. Dr. Long has continued to teach at the staff college after retiring. Dr. Long began his career as a conventional investor. He did, however, become an early user of an active mutual fund switching technique over time and extensive personal investigation. He began attending Dr. Tharp’s courses around fifteen years ago and rapidly grasped the fundamentals of Tharp Think. Over a decade ago, he explained his mutual fund flipping approach here. He has progressed since then from a long-term investor to a mechanical swing trader and lastly to a rule-based discretionary intraday trader. He continues to hold lengthier holdings and is acutely aware that what occurs in the market over longer time periods might affect his shorter-term trading and vice versa. He has presented the Swing Trading Systems workshop roughly twelve times over the previous decade and has consistently earned the greatest student reviews.
