Mikael Syding is the main teacher of The Investing Course. He has 30 years’ experience in the financial markets, having spent the last couple of years as an angel investor. Here is a brief overview of his background in the financial industry:

• Education: Stockholm School of Economics 1990-1994: MSc, Financial Economics

• Skandia: 1994-1996: Sell-side Equity Analyst at Skandinavien FK (IT, medtech, chemical industry, construction), later changed name to Skandia Bank

• Swedbank 1996-2000: Sell-side Equity Analyst (software, consultancies, Investment companies, medtech)

• Futuris (Brummer) 2000-2015: Hedge fund portfolio manager (global: IT, banks, services, leisure), Managing director and partner (European Hedge Fund of the Decade)
• Angel Investor: 2015-2024
